Explanation:

<p>Work will be partially remote and partially in person. The goal is to have in-person RE twice a month and occasional gatherings, once that is deemed safe for children. All other work can be done remotely and scheduling will be in cooperation with the Religious Educator. </p><p>This is a one year contract with the hope that it will be renewed annually for as long as is mutually agreeable. We are planning for next year to be a hybrid model and are planning to adapt how we do RE in accordance with whatever is most caring for our kids and youth. Our hope is that a collaborative model will foster connection with UUs beyond just our congregation. We are specifically hoping to offer some joint OWL and Youth Group experiences. Our hope is that a collaborative model will help support smaller congregations hiring and adequately compensating skilled Religious Educators. As the Minister, I am the head of staff and am happy to meet regularly with whoever is head of staff at the pairing congregation, so that we can support this role together.</p>
